Find these on the Apps and social shelf of Create. Each code is built as the link its app expects, so a scan opens the right profile, chat or place. If the app isn't installed, the browser shows the same page instead.
What each one does when scanned
- WhatsApp: opens a chat with you, with your message already typed. The person sends it or changes it first.
- WhatsApp catalogue: opens your catalogue. It needs a WhatsApp Business account with products in it.
- Telegram and Messenger: open a chat or your profile.
- FaceTime: starts a call to the number or Apple ID. Apple devices only, so say so on the print.
- Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Snapchat and Pinterest: open the profile, page or board.
- YouTube: opens the video or channel, at the moment the link names if it carries one.
- Google Maps: opens at the place. It's a search the app resolves, so a precise place name matters.
- Waze: starts navigation to the coordinates.
Fill in the form
Each form asks for what its app needs, such as a username, or a phone number with its country code and a message. The preview shows exactly what the code will open.
Static or dynamic
Make it dynamic if the destination might change, such as a new handle or a different video, and to count its scans. A dynamic code prints a short link you can point somewhere else after printing. See Changing where a code goes.
