QR-to-AI codes

A code that hands a question about your product to the scanner's own AI assistant, with your facts first and a request to cite your page.

A QR-to-AI code lets someone ask about a product, a dish or a place with the assistant they already use. Find it under Create.

How a scan works

  1. Scan. The code opens a page, not an AI and not an app.
  2. Facts first. Your facts show before any assistant, and need none.
  3. Their own assistant. The person can edit the question, then pick an assistant. It's asked to cite your page.

No model of ours runs, and no credits are spent. Which assistant answers, and whether it honours the request to name your source, is up to the assistant and the person scanning.

Make one

The item

  • Internal name: for your library only. The scanner never sees it.
  • Source page: the page the answer is asked to cite, starting with https://. It's screened like any destination.
  • Subject: what the item is, in a few words, such as "Assam leaf tea, 250 g".
  • Title on the scan page: the heading the scanner sees before choosing an assistant.
  • Cite the source as: how the source should be named in the answer, such as your brand. Optional.

The question

  • Question to hand over: what the assistant is asked. A fixed line asking it to cite the source is added after it.
  • Facts the answer may use: short label and value pairs, such as "Origin" and "Assam". Optional.

What a scanner sees previews the scan page as you type.

Always dynamic

A QR-to-AI code is always dynamic. Change the question, the facts or the source later on the code's own page and choose Save the ask. Each save is kept as a version and goes live at the edge, and codes already printed keep working.
