Open a page from Pages and choose Edit to open the page builder. The page sits in the middle, with its measurements beside it.
Add and arrange blocks
Choose Add a block to open the block library. Drag a tile onto the page, or press it to add it below the selected block. To move a block with the keyboard, press Space to pick it up, the arrow keys to move it, and Space again to drop it. Escape puts it back.
Some block types are marked Coming; pick another for now.
Menus
A menu block's items are saved separately with Save menu, and a live menu block shows them at once, without waiting for publish. Each item has a section (such as "Starters" or "Drinks"), a name, a description, a price, a dietary tag (veg, non-veg, egg, vegan or Jain), allergens, and optional serving hours. Untick Available to hide an item without deleting it.
Theme
Pick a ready-made theme, such as Classic, Paper, Night or Ocean, or use a brand kit's colours. You can also set the background, text, button and button-text colours yourself. Each is measured as you pick: text and buttons need a contrast of at least 4.5:1, and when a choice falls short, the builder suggests a colour that passes. You can also choose the button shape, the typeface and the header style.
The page address
Set the page's address, after /p/. It's checked for availability as you type. If you change it, the old address keeps working and redirects to the new one, so codes printed with it keep working.
Measurements
The right-hand column shows the Page weight, the Load time (LCP), whether it Works without JavaScript, and whether search engines can index it.
Languages
Under Page languages, add a language as a copy of the page and translate its text, yourself or with Translate with AI, which uses AI credits. Visitors see the language their phone asks for when the page has it, and the page's own language otherwise. Links, phone numbers, prices, payment details and files stay as they are.
Save, preview and publish
- Save draft saves a new version. Changes reach the live page only when you publish.
- Choose a Preview size to check the page at different screen widths, or preview the draft in a new tab.
- Schedule publishes the draft as it is at a time you choose. A live page keeps its current version until then.
- Versions lists every saved version. Choose What changed to compare one with the version before it, and Restore to go back to it.
Unsaved changes are kept in your browser, and the builder offers to restore them the next time you open the page.
A/B test
Choose A/B test to try a second version of the page. Version B starts as a copy of the page as it is now. The test reports visits for each version and, when there are enough, which is ahead. When you stop it, you choose which version to keep.
