Open Brand kits from the sidebar. A kit holds one brand's colours, fonts and logo. Mark one as the default, and new codes start from it.
Make a kit
Choose New kit and fill in:
- Kit name: the brand, as your team says it.
- Colours: Ink, Surface and Accent, as hex values such as #16161A. Leave a role blank and the kit doesn't set it.
- Type: a heading font and a body font, by family name.
- Mark: your logo, as PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG.
How the kit reads previews a card in the kit's surface, ink, accent and type. Choose Create kit.
The default kit
Choose Make default on a kit, and new codes start from it. Clear default removes it, so new codes start plain.
Where a kit applies
- Design studio: ink, surface and mark onto a code.
- Bulk generation: the same, onto a whole batch.
- Scan pages: the paused, ended, gate and ask pages a scanner can meet.
- Landing pages: ink, accent and surface as a page's theme, from the page builder.
Scan pages wear a kit's colours and mark wherever they stay readable, and never its name. A safety warning never wears a kit.
The design studio still checks every code for contrast and scanning, so a kit can't make a code that won't scan. See Designing a code that scans.
Edit or delete a kit
Choose Edit to change it, or Delete. Designs linked to a deleted kit keep their own colours: deleting a kit removes the link, never the look, and nothing reaches a printed code.
